“Glass ceiling at homes”
Sounds different…..right?
But yes i want to share my thoughts on glass ceilings at homes…though am not a professional writer nor speaker.. …am just a normal “women”…But thought like sharing my Views to help every women at your homes ……..
“Glass ceiling” term usually use as an unacknowledged barrier to advancement in a profession, especially affecting women and members of minorities at work places professionally …but now we are at such stage that it’s almost on disappearing as we can see lot many examples women leading corporates …..even everywhere …can say…But ,What about homes?
…..in india(might be in other countries as well) we can see… women; usually housewives, took so much for granted that they are just home makers (many exceptions too)meant to do household stuffs and take care of children (though it’s not at all easy job as corporate jobs but still)….
I personally feel everyone do have some or the other hidden talents, hobbies, dreams,or passion to do something about ….and due to the post marriage or other responsibilities their talents remain unrecognised….and hence leads to lower down their confidence gradually…..
On nearing women’s day, I felt like choosing LinkedIn as a platform to share my thoughts as all here are professional people and mature to understand and hopefully break the barriers at homes as well…..
I feel, everyone should give scope to their talents, dreams, hobbies of their loved ones(specially wife, sister, mother, daughter)… you never know what may turn out just awesome….and not always professionally or in monitery prospectives……but i am sure atleast they will be happy and confident within and also may help in uncertain family circumstances if any ….coz after certain age, when kids grow and women become free from kids dependancy and they want to do something…and that time they lack confidence to start anything….So if everyone at home will start valuing them then, definitely they will overcome the barriers and explore their talents and turnout to be more confident and happy human being. ..which matters most…… sometimes few things may not work but why not give a try and explore and start with new….and hence break the bias and glass ceilings at Home.
